2008 Subic Bay ITU Triathlon Asian Cup

Daniel Lee Chi Wo won the ITU Subic Bay International Triathlon this morning. (ITU Points Ranking & Asian Continental Ranking Race).
Race Course: Swim 2 loops x 750 m
Bike 3 loops x 13.33 km
Run 4 loops x 2.5 km
The field for the male competition was strong with triathletes competing from 8 countries in the world. (AUS, CAN, CHN, HKG, JPN, NZL, PHL & SYR) Daniel and Andrew had a good swim and came out in the first pack of 7 triathletes in 18 mins 30 sec. On the bike Daniel, Andrew, Omar & Andrew Curtayne stay in the first pack of 5 triathletes.
On the run Daniel and Hideo soon took command of the race. After 1st lap Daniel ran approx. 5 sec. behind Hideo. On 2nd and 3rd lap they were ran together. At the last lap Daniel was leading to finish.
